Moringa School Software Development Program Scholarship

I&M Foundation sponsored 25 youths from informal settlements to be trained in an 8 months’ software development course in 2023 at Moringa School, a multi-disciplinary coding institution with intensive tech education programmes located in Nairobi, Kenya. The school offers unmatched technical and professional training enabling individuals to close the skill gap in Africa’s tech job market.

 

The Program combines practical projects, relevant technologies, and up to date course content to prepare students for the workforce. Students received training on employable skills and joined a graduate support group to help them find employment opportunities.

Project Scope: Sponsorship of 25 students yearly in Moringa School’s Software Development Access Programme. The aim is to develop careers to serve a digitally transforming world with an emphasis on encouraging girls in STEM disciplines.
