Kitui Development Centre – Post COVID-19 Recovery (KES 10,976,000)

KCDF through a grant given by I&M Foundation support worked with Kitui Development Centre (KDC) a community-based organisation to support and revitalise Self-Help Groups (SHGs) which had been severely disrupted by COVID-19.

 

The project was designed to improve food security by building the capacity of subsistence farmers with an aim to enhance household food security and income provisions. The project implementation resulted in new and enhanced value chains and improved the nutritional levels of 458 households.
