The MAA Trust

I&M Foundation partners with The Maa Trust to engage local Maasai women in environmentally sustainable livelihoods with an aim to diversify and increase household income streams, alleviate poverty and contribute towards the reduction of gender inequality by empowering women financially. Parallel goals include reducing household environmental impacts and raising awareness on the importance of wildlife conservation.

Jonathan Jackson Foundation

This youth empowerment initiative is aimed at upskilling 800 youths from 40 groups within various informal settlements of Nairobi. The beneficiaries are also equipped with tools of trade including food carts, public address and sound systems, mini kiosks and car wash equipment.

Our mission is to create sustainable avenues for income generation, enhance livelihoods and reduce the chances of youths turning to crime.

The King’s Trust International

The Enterprise Challenge Programme is an annual inter-school competition for students designed to develop and encourage their entrepreneurial spirit and business knowledge. Within the Programme, students form teams to play a Pop-Up business simulation game with support from a business mentor, which takes them through the stages of setting up and running a successful business.

The program will be delivered, for a period of three consecutive years, beginning with Year 1 in 2024. In Year 1 the programme will engage 1,700 young people, in Year 2 and three, the programme will engage 2,300 young people each.

Each year, this will begin with the delivery of Stage 1 of the program, focused on school-based delivery, before the delivery of Regional Finals, and one National Finals event. It will be delivered for students in local partner Asante Africa Foundation’s Leadership and Entrepreneurship Incubator (LEI) Clubs to develop their entrepreneurial spirit and business knowledge.
